25 Jun GDC to begin contract for Food Service Management at the Philadelphia Department of Prisons July 1, 2017

GD Correctional Services, LLC is proud to announce we are the successful bidder for the Philadelphia Department of Prisons. We look forward to building a partnership with the Philadelphia Department of Prisons.

The Philadelphia Department of Prisons is a large urban jail system, comprised of six major facilities located on State Road in Northeast Philadelphia with a current population of approximately 6500 inmates.

Food Services at PDP involves the use of advanced cook-chill production systems, the operation and provision of food service to six major facilities, one satellite facility and one off-site facility, the provision of medical diets and snacks, and the use and supervision of inmate workers.
